Sam Nelson

Sam Nelson has been writing music since the age of 11 and began performing at when he was 15. With a vocal background of classical training, he is able to perform and write in multiple genres. Sam's songwriting is deeply influenced by artists such as Lizzy McAlpine, Noah Kahan, and Loving, who specialize in emotional and narrative-driven music.

Joey Hanks

Joey Hanks has been playing trombone and guitar since he was 9 and recording/producing since he was 15. He played guitar at his local School of Rock for 7 years. He also played trombone at his high school and at the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra for the 2022-2023 season. Joey incorporates mixing techniques from a wide range of genres spanning from hip-hop, metal, and indie. His production influences include J-Dilla, Madlib, and Pharrell Williams.

Tony Slingerland

Tony Slingerland is a musician from Atlantic City, New Jersey, who began his musical journey at the age of 12. He started on saxophone and later played tuba throughout high school. At 15, he picked up the bass, shifting his focus toward rock music. Over time, his interests evolved into metal and funk, drawing inspiration from bands like Dream Theater, Primus, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Jamiroquai. Tony's growth as a musician has been influenced by teachers and players, including his high school teacher David Craig Milnes and Scott Divine from Scott's Bass Lessons. Notable players who inspire him include Flea, Joe Cooper, Sam Nelson, and Enrique Perez.

Jules Gouwens

Initially playing the trumpet at age nine, Jules picked up the guitar at fourteen and proceeded down the path of songwriting and producing in the years following. While attending high school, he received guidance from teacher and saxophonist John Mattern, jazz guitarist and Berklee alum Jeff Massanari, and Producer/Engineer Arne Frager who owned LA’s ‘The Plant Studios’ for two decades. With deepest inspiration from artists such as King Krule, Jonah Yano and Dijon, their passionate and genre-blending sounds resonates through his solo project; Shoukunn.
